NSW Food and Wine Development Network
Assisting the development of successful regional
food and wine businesses
The NSW Regional Food and Wine Development Network began in May 2000 as
a forum to discuss issues of common interest, exchange information and
ideas about food and wine development in regional New South Wales. The
Network evolved in response to increased interest in regional cuisine,
culinary tourism and the growth of activities by food groups across the
State.
Members include: regional food and wine development officers, representatives
of regional projects, members of producer/grower groups, Tourism New South
Wales representative, NSW Wine Industry representative and DSRD regional
representatives.
Meetings are held quarterly and are a great opportunity for each of the
groups in the Network to promote regional produce, the activities and
events in their region and for development officers to develop further
contacts in the industry and gain exposure to the media.
To become part of an active network information channel as a participating
member, contact Ruth Johnstone, Manager Regional Programs, email: ruth.johnstone@business.nsw.gov.au
